South Coast Plaza celebrates the Autumn Harvest Festival

September 6–17

The Autumn Harvest Festival is a multi-cultural celebration in observance of the Chinese Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival, the Korean Cheosuk and the Vietnamese Tết Trung Thu. It is observed on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month — when the moon is believed to be at its fullest and brightest during the year. This holiday is a time for gathering (the full moon signifies family reunion), thanksgiving (for a good harvest) and praying (for good fortune).
