All restaurants will be open, but here are some special offerings for Mother’s Day weekend.

KNIFE PLEAT
Treat mom to a luxe dining experience at afternoon tea on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 at South Coast Plaza’s Michelin-starred restaurant. Tea service incudes fine teas, elegantly composed tea sandwiches and other luxury savories as well as exquisite hand-made desserts. Caviar and champagne available at an extra charge.
Tea service May 11 and 12: 11:30am – 1:45pm
$135 per guest, excluding tax and service charge. This is a non-refundable, pre-paid event. Knife Pleat will be closed for dinner service May 12.

PETROSSIAN AT TIFFANY
The ultimate caviar experience in the form of a caviar class and tasting menu is offered Saturday, May 11. The evening begins with passed hors d’oeuvres and a welcome apéritif at 4:30pm.
You will join fellow gourmands at multiple communal tables at 5 PM, and enjoy a journey through a dynamic range of world class caviar led by a Petrossian specialist. Afterwards, a seasonal, multi-course tasting menu with wine pairings will be served.

Petrossian at Tiffany will serve a lovely four-course Mother’s Day lunch, thoughtfully created by chef Carlos Cabrera. Start with assorted pastry including homemade bread with caviar butter. Next will be spring salad with tomato, pesto and fromage blanc. The entrée is a luxe lobster raviolo with caviar, basil, lemon and ricotta. End with Harry’s Berries shortcake with vanilla and mint.

TERRACE BY MIX MIX
Chef Ross Pangilinan has created a three-course menu for Mother’s Day brunch with delicious choices. Starters include a bountiful crudo, roasted bone marrow flatbread, trio of deviled eggs with arugula, Caesar Gem salad or shrimp lumpia.
Entrée selections are chef’s famous Filipino brunch, salmon Benedict, Island French toast, Mushroom orecchiette pasta, Mary’s Farm chicken or Hangar steak ($10 supplement). Dessert choices are tropical panna cotta or chocolate chip sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.

MORTON’S THE STEAKHOUSE
Spoil Mom with a Morton’s A5 snow-aged Wagyu filet & lobster tail entrée.
The perfectly aged Wagyu beef filet uses the Yukimuro (‘snow storage’) method, paired with a luscious lobster tail.
Available Friday, May 10 – Sunday, May 12. $99 for special entrée. Full à la carte menu served.
Morton’s exclusive Mother’s Day cocktail, Lavender Bouquet, is a unique blend of Hendrick’s Gin, Grand Marnier, lavender, and fresh lemon juice. Available May 2– 12.

THE CAPITAL GRILLE
The Capital Grille opens early Mother’s Day serving four brunch dishes and an array of champagnes by the glass and a classic Mimosa. The dinner menu of contemporary classic offerings is available all day.
Brunch entrées are lobster frittata with butter poached lobster tails, truffle hollandaise and asparagus; bone-in dry-aged NY strip and eggs, a center-cut filet mignon, and crab cake Benedict, all served with white cheddar hash browns.
A children’s brunch menu starts with fresh fruit and has entrée options of chicken fingers, mini-cheeseburgers (both served with French fries), mac ‘n cheese, classic French toast, and scrambled eggs with cheese (both served with bacon) plus an ice cream dessert.

SEASONS 52
Seasons 52 offers an à la carte Mother’s Day brunch menu as well as the traditional menu. An Easter Green Box is available for takeout.
Brunch starters include avocado toast, shrimp cocktail and lump crab cake. Entrée selections vary from crab and cheddar quiche, upright French toast with fresh blueberry compote, maple vanilla cream and applewood smoked bacon to wood-grilled shrimp and grits, and apricot-glazed ham with French green beans and sweet potato mash, maple-pecan streusel.
Perfect for home is the Mother’s Day Green Box with selections of apricot-glazed spiral ham, a whole side of cedar plank-roasted salmon or wood-grilled beef tenderloin, with choice of salad, two sides and six Mini Indulgences. Pick it up chilled, warm at home and enjoy.
