This Holiday season, Maison Margiela Fragrances is opening a freestanding retail experience at South Coast Plaza for the first time. Located in Costa Mesa, California, South Coast Plaza is the largest shopping center on the West Coast. The Pop-Up boutique will feature the iconic REPLICA collection of fragrances, including a new scent that will be exclusively unveiled at the shop. The boutique will also offer exclusive customization and gifting selections, as well as a series of special events to bring its fragrance names to life.

The REPLICA Fragrance Collection

Comprised of 15 unique scents, each REPLICA fragrance captures a specific olfactory moment, recalling memories that we all share. The collection is inspired by the REPLICA fashion collection which carries a special label explaining its origin, function and period. From a stroll along the ocean (“Beach Walk”) to whiskey cocktails in a leather armchair (“Jazz Club”), each scent captures familiar moments, periods and locations.

A Unique Experience with Exclusive Offerings

From jazz concerts to calligraphy events, the Pop-Up will bring exciting surprises to the South Coast Plaza area from a diverse selection of activations that will reflect some of the brand’s most popular fragrances. Discover Whispers in the Library during an exclusive book signing event with author and poet Cleo Wade, who will introduce and autograph her new book. Come and smell the newest REPLICA fragrance, Springtime in a Park, and get a unique preview with a perfume expert.

The South Coast Plaza Pop-Up store will also offer several ways to customize the REPLICA fragrances. Customers  can  personalize  their  fragrance  labels  with their  own  (or  gift recipient’s) name and personal location and time, and they can add their own photo of their olfactive memory printed  with  an  on-site  iPhone  printer  to  a  fragrance  pouch. To  make  holiday gift-giving even simpler, exclusive Maison Margiela wrapping will be available.
