Terrace by Mix Mix

Terrace by Mix Mix is owned by one of South Coast Plaza’s most highly acclaimed chefs, Ross Pangilinan. His internationally inspired cuisine features small plates influenced by French, Italian and modern Filipino flavors, served in a lush terrace setting.

Pangilinan has been recognized by the Michelin Guide and was named “Chef of the Year” by the Orange County Business Journal.  Terrace by Mix Mix has been lauded as one of “Orange County’s Hottest Restaurants” by Eater LA and received “Best New Restaurant” honors from Orange Coast Magazine and Riviera Orange County.

Signature dishes include albacore tostada, goat cheese toast with seasonal fruit, pork cheek adobo with garlic fried rice and house-made pastas.  Weekend brunch—and the crispy duck leg confit with blackberry French toast—attracts an abundance of foodie fans.

Quattro Caffé

This contemporary, Armani-designed, Northern Italian bistro had its beginnings in 1991. For three decades the bustling restaurant has been a destination for SCP shoppers from around the world.

Nestled between Emporio Armani and Jimmy Choo, the highly visible hot-spot beckons with a petit bar, indoor dining and an inviting private patio. Blonde woods and walls filled with black and white photos from iconic Italian cinema create a chic ambiance complemented by cordial service.

The food—northern Italian dishes, prepared with a deft, light hand—is perfect for the California palate. Italian appetizers, a bounty of salads, authentic pizzas and a pasta to please every palate are served. Spaghetti alla pescatora, splendid with seafood treasures, is a top-seller.

Seasons 52

A top dining destination at South Coast Plaza, Seasons 52 is inspired by the seasonal offerings of farmers markets, prepared by culinarians who showcase the freshest ingredients in dishes that are naturally lighter and full of flavor.

A busy bar and lounge feature an often-refreshed selection of cocktails and a thoughtfully curated list of 52 wines by the glass. Comfortable indoor seating and an al fresco patio round out seating options.

Besides serving over 50 varieties of produce, carefully sourced fish and meats are oak-fire grilled or brick oven roasted, with nary a fryer in sight.

Crispy, delicate flatbreads, a bounty of entrée salads and the signature Mini-Indulgence desserts are among guest favorites. To enjoy what’s in season, head to Seasons 52.

Ramen Nagi

Founded in 2004 by Chef Satoshi Ikuta, Ramen Nagi has gained cult-like popularity throughout Japan and Asia, and now the U.S. This authentic ramen shop is known for its perfect noodles crafted in-house and both traditional and fusion broth flavors. Diners are treated to a lively culinary show each time they dine. Bar seating for quick bites surrounds an open kitchen in addition to larger tables that encourage slightly longer social experiences.

Vox Kitchen & Bar

Specializing in modern Pan-Asian cuisine inspired by Chifa, a Peruvian-Chinese culinary fusion, expect delicious surprises like a pear arugula salad with creamy burrata, fig balsamic vinegar and honey-roasted nuts in a refreshing champagne vinaigrette. Spicy noodles bathed in scallions and fried garlic will include either chicken or shrimp wontons. Vox’s house special, saltado, fires up tomatoes, red onions, and steak fries with choice of protein. The tender filet mignon is the hands-down winner.

As for liquid refreshment, Vox has a full bar and craft cocktails. A Pisco Sour and Spicy Margarita have been created expressly for South Coast Plaza. Zero-proof listings such as the signature lychee lemonade and mango dragon iced fruit tea are just as tasty. Classic Vietnamese iced coffee is a perfect foil for spicy dishes.

Caló Kitchen + Tequila

Caló Kitchen + Tequila was inspired by Clemente Heredia’s passion for fantastic food and service. Enjoy a warm welcome environment that is elegant yet fun and relaxed. The menu is a selection of Mexican classics and contemporary favorites prepared with local, high-quality ingredients complemented by the finest collection of sipping tequilas in the country. Many recipes have been handed down from Clemente’s grandparents when they began as restaurateurs in 1962. Long-standing favorites include Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas, Halibut Tacos and their Famous Carnitas made with Grandma’s original recipe.

As its name implies, tequila is a highlight of any visit here. Tucked into the covered patio is a half-moon tequila bar, which sits up like a stunning oasis beckoning guests to its seats. The dramatically designed space showcases the various agave-based offerings, handsomely displayed on the back bar. All are available to enjoy in creative margaritas, neat in a snifter, or as a tasting flight delivered by a roaming bar cart. From fresh blancos to expressive reposados and handsomely graceful añejos, there is something for everyone. The full menu is available at the bar as well. A favorite starter is the handmade crunchy taquitos with choice of jumbo shrimp, chicken or potato fillings topped with chunky guac.
